Hey Crashers,
Where do we find you this week? (Let us know what you’re working on in the comments) For us, we are preparing for travel to the USA. Next week we’ll visit those we’re coaching in Austin, then later spend time with friends in Nashville and Los Angeles. We’re looking forward to it. Please pray for us.
Don’t forget - the special 50% off membership continues for a short time. Get the full journals and other community perks. We’d love to have you.
Grace and Peace,

5 things worth sharing this week.
3 minutes of silence and majesty.
Here’s the challenge. Find a time and space all to your own, and then take 3 minutes to watch the above video. Make sure it’s silent and full-screen. It’s an Aurora captured in the night sky of New Zealand. Watch how quickly you switch off or become bored. The practice reminds us of how we can so easily miss the wonder of God’s creation in amongst the noise and busyness of life. We’re almost programmed to ignore it. So instead - choose to stay silent, pay attention, and notice God’s majesty.
Firm Foundation like you’ve never heard it!
Maverick City Music just released their new EP called “The Maverick Way.” It includes 6 songs and features Tasha Cobbs Leonard on “More Than Able.” Our family fav’ is the rap in “Firm Foundation”. It pushes the song forward and is a surprising addition. It’s not for everyone but should at least motivate you to keep writing, creating, and worshipping in fresh and unexpected ways!
People are interesting… especially creatives.
We came across this 12-year-old TedX talk by Taika Waititi. It’s about 18 minutes of him talking about the way he sees creativity. He appears to ramble and have no real point…. but beneath the humor and wit, his view of creativity and the purpose of humanity is surprisingly encouraging.
In case you missed it…
Glean from one who loved words and the Word.
This touching interview with the late Eugene Peterson will instill in you new ways to think about God and his word - then expand your spiritual and scriptural imagination. It’s beautiful and life-giving.
Real questions answered…
This book, by Rebecca McLaughlin, is one we have recommended over and over again. It was Christianity Today’s “2020 Book of the Year," and covers 12 difficult questions about Christianity.
Questions like; Doesn’t Christianity crush diversity? Doesn’t Christianity denigrate women? Isn’t Christianity homophobic? How could a loving God allow so much suffering?
It’s worth a read, even if you’re not a big reader. 😉
