Let’s start with the awkward question that usually floats into the room when we talk about worship, creativity, and excellence:
Should we even want to be “world-changing”?
Isn’t that prideful? Isn’t that chasing the spotlight? Isn’t “faithful” enough?
Here’s the truth: Sometimes people in the church do make “world-changing” about ego, or applause, or looking impressive. They do - But that’s definitely not what I’m talking about.
“World-changing” in the kingdom of God isn’t about competing with Hollywood or Nashville. It’s not about the most lights, the slickest livestream, or the catchiest new song.
