Over and over, they ask us the same question.

It's not something I would have ever expected.

Instead, it's this;

"How do you stay creatively inspired?"

When I say "they ask us the same question," the people I'm referring to are those in Q&A's or conversations after Church services where we have spoken or when a special moment that we have had a creative hand in goes really well.

It's people like you and me.

And I've always found it a fascinating question.

Why?

Because it's not something I think a lot about.

But given that it comes up all the time, I've realized that many people struggle with it.

I call it the blank page syndrome.

We've all been there. You have to write or create something. You have the clean, crisp, blank sheet of paper in front of you, yet you need to figure out where to start.

Time passes. The more you sit there stressing, the less you feel inspired. And the more the desperation starts to set in.

And this is the reason this question comes up all the time at Q&A's.

How do you stay inspired?

The answer that no one wants to admit to that question is that we all face times when we don't feel inspired. Yet, some people seem to be continually prolific, which leads us all to believe that other people are constantly inspired and that we're not.

So what's their secret?
