Life ebbs and flows, doesn't it?
It's full of ups and downs and twists and turns.
At least, that's how I feel as I sit at my desk day after day in this new life that we've created.
Life looks different now.
One day it seems all the pieces are fitting together; the next, I feel like I don't know what's happening.
Sometimes I love it, and sometimes it's overwhelming.
Because change is a process, even though it can happen in a moment.
And like all of us, we live in the process, as Reuben said in last week's edition of the journals.
I love that line, "We live in the process."
We don't arrive. We live day by day in the unforced rhythms of God's creation.
Day and night.
Night and day.
There's something fresh to look forward to each morning.
And yet, lately, I've been asked several times, "Do you miss your old life?"
