As for this week’s Rapid 5 - if you check out nothing else, do watch the short animation in #4 below - it’s sure to give you a little unexpected fuel for your today’s creative endeavors.

5 things worth sharing this week.
There’s a unicorn in your cappuccino!
I ordered a cappuccino and got more than I imagined possible - the barista created a work of art!! He painted a unicorn in my coffee, but left me wondering if he’s actually the unicorn!! I’ve never seen anything like that in real life before. Amazing!! Turns out there’s a tutorial for everything on YouTube… so if you want to try your hand at creating your own unicorn on tomorrow morning’s latte - here’s a tutorial to get you started.
Soundscapes to focus your motivation.
Not sure if you’re like me - I usually put my noise-cancelling headphones on when I need to get stuff done - I zone out from the noise of the family and focus on the task at hand. If that’s you too, check out Endel. They make personalized soundscapes to help you focus, relax, and sleep. A little pricey, but maybe worth your while to have your focus back.
Some new worship music from our friends at the Belonging Co.
Prior to taking off for the USA, I spent an afternoon doing some work around the Farm. As I worked, I listened to the new album “Pneuma” from The Belonging Co. It has A LOT going on… I loved listening. Some songs, like “The Joy,” brought a smile to my face, and others, like “Sing The Name,” brought me right into God’s presence. “Nothing Ever Will” might possibly be my favorite! It’s worth adding to your worship playlist!! … and the added bonus is we get to be at the Belonging Co this weekend in Nashville.
In case you missed it…
Last week in the Rhino Journals, I wrote about trying to discern the will of God and following him into the unknown - and the scary but thrilling place of stepping out in faith. It seems to have resonated with many of you. Thanks to all those who wrote to let us know it was encouraging - and for those of you who didn’t get to read or listen to it, it’s not too late!! Check it out here.
Obvious to you might be amazing to me!
I came across this 2-minute animation recently - it’s surprisingly good. Not the animation itself - but the narration. I think it’ll help you with energy and enthusiasm for your creative endeavors this week - enjoy!
Reflecting on Biblical Womanhood.
As a married couple in ministry, we’ve wrestled a lot with how to understand the roles we both play. We’ve always tried to outwork scripture as best as we can. In doing so, we’ve read, listened, and learned a lot. I’ve especially had to be open to growing and changing. It’s an ongoing endeavor 😊. As a man in the Church, it’s easy to be oblivious to the reality for many women in ministry. With this in mind - I’d love to encourage you to watch this talk by Dr. Beth Allison Bar. It’s a touch long - but does cover an important topic.
