Hey Crashers,
This week’s edition comes to you from Athens, Greece!! While here, we visited “Mars Hill,” where the Apostle Paul visited in Acts 17 - incredible!!
The real highlight, though, has been the conference we’ve been speaking at. They referred to Athens not as a destination but as a vantage point - a place to meet with the Lord and perhaps gain a glimpse of where He is leading his people into the future.
So, as we share the Rapid 5 and Journal below - we pray that you, too, will find yourself at a vantage point - a place to be led by God into an incredible future!!
Grace and Peace,
Cass & Rich

How to tell your story so the world listens - This book has been highly recommended to us this week. It outlines 10 elements for great storytelling, which is something we all need to do well as creatives. (LINK)
The Radical Act of Storytelling - For those who prefer a quick YouTube video (rather than a book), here’s Bobbette Buster (the author of the above book) talking about the importance of storytelling at TedX. (LINK)
Flickering Pixels - We read this book a LONG time ago but remembered it this week, so we decided to revisit it. Shane Hipps offers an interesting take on technology and the Gospel, and it’s well worth a read!! (LINK)
An Army Arising - In this book, the author offers an argument for why he believes artists are on the front line of the next move of God. A new friend from the conference suggested we would like it - so it’s definitely on the “read next” list. (LINK)
Make a song with Suno - A.I is everywhere these days… even in the songwriting space. Suno is a songwriting A.I. Can it write the next big worship song for the church? I'm not sure about that - but it’s a fascinating tool with some interesting use cases. (LINK)

Question of the week…
Creating Holy Spirit Spaces.
This week in Greece, we were invited to share some of the principles we have found effective after two decades of leading creative teams. The good news is you don’t have to travel to Athens to hear them because today, we’re bringing them to you!
For your enjoyment and because we like alliteration, we thought we’d make them all start with “F” which will hopefully encourage creative flourishing (see what I did there, haha).
The environment in which creatives work is crucial. You’d know that yourself or would have realized it through leading creative people. Often, we need the environment to feel a certain way to experience a sense of flow when we create.
