How should creative leaders approach the Easter weekend?
Here's the tip - it's not how you expect?
Hey Crashers,
We love Hot Crossed Buns in our family. Do you have them where you are? They’re an Aussie Easter fav’! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, hopefully, the photo above will help you out. 😊
Anyway, in this week's edition, we’re discussing Easter and considering how creative leaders and worship pastors should prepare. We know you’ll have all the usual things covered, but there are a few important things you may not have thought about. We hope it’s helpful - let us know.
Grace and Peace,
Cass & Rich

You know those albums you didn’t know you needed until you eventually stumbled upon them? Abbie Gamboa’s “Pure” was one of those ones for us. It’s perfect for reflecting on Jesus this Silent Saturday. (Link)
What’s the job of a leader? Simon Sinek has the answer, and it’s not to motivate people. This short 2-minute video speaks to business leaders but applies just as well to the creative leader, too!! (Link)
In Sydney this Easter and looking for something to do? Local photographer and artist Steven Stanely Manolakis is exhibiting his work, and it will be worth a visit. (Link)
What are the top 40 Easter Worship songs of all time? Big question. The “Best Christian Easter Worship Songs” playlist on YouTube can help. There are a few unexpected inclusions. (Link)
It is finished!! Think on that this Easter. Jesus finished work on the cross. And if you need some help with what to meditate on, check out Darrell Johnson’s book by the same name. (Link)

Question of the week…
How to approach the Easter weekend.
- Cass Langton
Sometimes, it seems we can be a little short of inspiration.
And by "we", I mean us creatives.
And at other times, we can forget that people need to be inspired.
And by "we", I mean us creative leaders and worship pastors.
I love the verse Ephesians 4:1, which calls us to live lives worthy of the calling. This is inspiration at its finest. Thank you, Paul. The word picture that is painted is of a set of scales. We are encouraged to live our lives in balance with the weight and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who has called us. We are to live up to the calling, worthy of the calling, in balance with the calling. And if we are not living that way, then Paul is urging us to allow Jesus to call us higher. To inspire us to live differently as a result of his calling.
