Hey Crashers,
You probably know by now that I am a sucker for art. I love music, art, theatre, words, poetry, design, architecture… I honestly believe that creatives are some of the greatest evangelists on earth - that the way we create is a signpost beyond ourselves to a master artisan, the OG creator, and the one who holds everything together. Today, the Journal is around that thought, and some fun reading I have been doing about Banksy, Bezalel, and Bach. I hope it gives you something to ponder where you are creating today.
Grace and Peace,

Question of the week…
JJ.

From a studio in the eastern suburbs of Sydney to the bold strokes of Renaissance masters to the subtle initials of modern artists, these marks speak of pride, recognition, and the human effort behind breathtaking works of art.

This creature, often depicted wielding spray paint cans or engaging in humorous acts of rebellion, serves as a powerful symbol in Banksy's work—representing resilience and social critique in an urban landscape.
