Hey Crashers,

It’s been a huge summer for us here in Sydney. (Yeah, we’re all mixed up with our seasons down under 🤣). It’s hard to believe that we’re now midway through February!! But thanks for allowing us some time off - it’s been well-needed. We’re now so glad to be back!!

Now, about today’s edition: Wow!! You’re going to love gleaning from our friend Rita Springer. Her story about her niece finding an old journal will wreck you!! And her fav’ TV shows right now will make you laugh and want to go Google it! Check out number 3 on the Rapid 5!!

Grace and Peace,

Cass & Rich

This week’s Rapid 5 is courtesy of Rita Springer. Watch the video to learn why these five links are meaningful to her and worth sharing.

  1. A BOOK THAT INSPIRED.
The Last Jews of Treblinka -
A story of overcoming that moved Rita’s heart and is sure to do the same to you.

  2. A TOOL TO TRY.
    Public Domain Hymns -
Not the book Rita referenced, but a vast, ugly (their words, not ours 😊) and fascinating list of hymns that are freely available to use for inspiration.

  3. A PLAYLIST/SONG/MOVIE/TV SHOW TO CONSUME.
The Top 10 Turkish TV Shows - Yes, you read that right!! Rita is into Turkish TV, so if that intrigues you, here’s somewhere to start!!

  4. A PODCAST TO PLAY.
”And The Writer Is” Podcast -
Rita mentioned learning a lot and being inspired by pop songwriter Ross Golan and those he interviews.

  5. A RANDOM OBJECT EVERY CREATIVE SHOULD OWN.
    Muji Bind Grid Notebook
While probably not exactly like Rita’s notebook from her 20s, we love these Muji notebooks with grid pattern because they’re elegant, cheap, and made with recycled paper! What’s not to love?!
