The battle against silence and self-doubt.
In this episode, Rich and I sat down to talk about something that’s been on our minds a lot lately—courage in creativity. We’ve both had recent experiences that reminded us just how important it is, along with resilience, when fear, criticism, or even stress and anxiety try to get in the way.
It was last week's conversation with Rita Springer that sealed the deal. If you haven’t watched it, or listened yet, you really need to!!
So we’re going in the same direction as we planned - but now with fresh courage!!
And today we talk about what that may look like for you!
All creatives face struggles. We all have self-doubt from time to time, and then there are societal pressures or that little voice in your head that says, “Who do you think you are?”
But, pushing through those moments matters. Creativity isn’t just about having ideas; it’s about having the courage to act on them because;
“Creativity without courage dies in the dark.”
We all have to fight against the temptation, in whatever form it takes, to settle for anything less than doing the thing God has placed deep inside you. The one thing you know you’re made for. That one creative endeavour that perhaps no one knows about because you’ve been too scared to put voice to it.
Todays the day. Fear ends now.
And this is just the beginning. If you’ve ever struggled with fear in your creative journey, we hope this episode encourages you to keep going.
